It is STRONGLYadvised that anybody who is considering purchasing a pedigree cat/kitten should check first with the registrar of the GCCFI (Governing Council of the Cat Fancy of Ireland) to ensure that the cat/kitten in question is registered with the GCCFI (or the GCCF for Breeders domiciled in the North of Ireland). This is to ensure that the cat/kitten is a certified pedigree animal under the rules of the GCCFI (The only recognized body in the Republic of Ireland), to which this Club is affiliated. ALWAYS ENSURE THAT A FULL SET OF PAPERS (Signed Pedigree, Transfer Paper and Vaccination Certificate) IS PROVIDED ALONG WITH THE CAT/KITTEN ON THE DAY YOU COLLECT THE ANIMAL. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THE ANIMAL WITHOUT THE CORRECT PAPERS.
